Before you use a prompt

These rules come from Digital Citizenship & AI Appendix B: AI Responsible Use Policy 26-27.

Use only AI tools on your school's Approved AI Tools List. Teachers do not self-approve new tools — requests go to the school's AI Integration Coordinator.
Do not enter identifiable student data, confidential school information, secure assessment material, unreleased examination content or passwords into general-purpose AI tools — for example, write "the student" instead of a name.
Check every output for accuracy, syllabus alignment, level, language, bias and age appropriateness before you use it with students. An AI-drafted lesson plan must still meet the Lesson Planning Guide & Template.
AI may help draft practice questions and generic feedback language. A teacher reviews every question, expected answer and mark allocation, and checks feedback against the student's actual work. For Cambridge candidate work, AI must not be the sole or primary means of marking — a human assessor reviews the work in full and decides the mark.
