Teaching Practice Walkthrough

A walkthrough is a short, unannounced visit of about 10–15 minutes, recorded with the Teaching Practice Walkthrough Form. The Principal walks through every classroom weekly. Other school leaders may also make short visits at any time; the written feedback on the Walkthrough Form must be shared with the teacher (Teacher Appraisal: Handbook 26-27).

Mark each focus E / D / N and note what you saw while it is fresh
Write one Key Observation — a strength, a pattern, or something worth discussing — and, if useful, one Suggested Focus

Walkthroughs are developmental evidence only. They are not valid F2 observations and are not included in the F2 calculation or the appraisal composite (Teacher Appraisal: Handbook 26-27).
