The quality of teaching across the school's cycle of formal observations — at least 3 per semester. Each observation covers a 35–45 minute window, and items are scored at three collection points: lesson plan review, live observation and post-lesson. The annual F2 score is the mean of all valid observation composites. Four domains; the item count grows with the appraisal level.

Work Inspection 20%

Professional conduct, responsibilities beyond the classroom, and contribution to the school and the Eduversal community. Lead teachers also answer six F3L leadership items.

Student feedback on the teaching and learning process, collected at the end of each semester. Students fill the survey — you enter the aggregated results for Semester 1 and Semester 2. The annual F4 score is the mean of the two semester scores.

Who counts as “the Appraiser”?

The school appoints the appraisers who produce the official F2 score. An appraiser must be one of: Subject Leader or Head of Department, Principal, Academic Coordinator or Cambridge Coordinator.
The appraiser must hold a superintendent, mid-management (principal) or supervisor certification, and have at least three years of teaching experience at early years, primary or secondary level.
A mentor never appraises their own mentee. If a person was ever the teacher’s induction mentor, school management assigns a different qualified appraiser for the cycle.
Eduversal Subject Specialist visits are formative only. They never produce or change an F2 score and are not recorded on this page. Informal walkthroughs and Network Peer Review learning walks do not count either.

A recorded observation stays in the annual F2 calculation; it can be voided only for a documented procedural defect (for example an unauthorised appraiser, a conflict of interest, or a record that cannot be scored fairly) — never because of the score or because the teacher disagrees.
